OIZEA TYPE LICENSE AGREEMENT


THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU (THE INDIVIDUAL OR THE ENTITY USING THE OIZEA TYPE SOFTWARE) AND OIZEA.COM, (“OIZEA”). PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS CAREFULLY. YOU MUST AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT (“AGREEMENT”) IN ORDER TO INSTALL AND USE THE OIZEA TYPE SOFTWARE. BY CLICKING ON THE “ACCEPT” BUTTON, OR BY USING OIZEA TYPE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. CLICK THE “CANCEL” BUTTON IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS. YOU MAY NOT INSTALL OR USE THE OIZEA TYPE SOFTWARE IN ANY WAY UNLESS YOU HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

1. LICENSE GRANT. Oizea grants you the Licensee a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, limited license to install and use the Oizea Type software and any accompanying documentation (the “Software”) on a single Device(“Term”). A “Device” is any cellular phone that is authorized to be distributed with the Software pursuant to a license. In furtherance of the license grant herein, you agree that Oizea may contact you regarding your use of the Software and to participate in a survey and/or provide feedback to Oizea regarding your use of the Software.

2. RESTRICTIONS. Oizea owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software and the trademarks associated with the Software. You may not: (a) sell or use the Software in another product; (b) transfer or assign this license or the Software to any third party; (c) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software or otherwise attempt to derive the source code (except where expressly permitted by law); (d) modify, adapt or create derivative works from the Software in any way or remove proprietary notices in the Software.

3. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. All right, title, and interest in the Software and Documentation including, but not limited to, all patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark and other intellectual property rights associated therewith, shall remain solely in Oizea and/or its licensors. You may use the software only for lawful purposes.

4. OIZEA TYPE IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. OIZEA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

5. GENERAL LEGAL TERMS. This Agreement and all related documentation is and will be in the English language. If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be revised to the extent necessary to cure the invalidity or unenforceability, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

Installation Guide

You can install the unsigned version of Oizea Type on your Symbian S60 3rd devices by the following steps.

Current trial version can be used until Feb 28, 2009. After that, please reinstall the Symbian signed version released at that time.

Open Signed Online

  1. Get sis file (codename: Eden Eve) from Download (Not ALL-TCB version !)
  2. Go to Symbian Open Signed Online and fill the form (Javascript required)
    1. IMEI number (typing *#06# on the phone to figure out)
    2. Email: your email to receive information through this process.
    3. Application: Browse and upload the sis file you just download here.
    4. Capability information: choose [Select All]
    5. Type in the security code
    6. check "Accept legal agreement"
  3. Go to the Email you just leaked.
  4. Confirm the message
  5. Wait a while to receive another message brings you to download the signed sis.

Install Oizea Type

  1. Install the signed sis to your device (C:, Mandatory).
  2. Reboot your S60 3rd device.

Switch Oizea Type On

  1. Run application OizFepSetup
  2. Left softkey for options
  3. Choose "Install Fep"
  4. Find "OizFepAlpha" and confirm.
  5. Note: You can restore default input method by select AknFEP later.
  6. Quit OizFepSetup
  7. Go to SMS (S60 FP1) and try to send a message. Or try it on Nokia dictionary.

For Experts: ALL-TCB Version

Due to the Capability constrains introduced by S60 3rd, Oizea Type signed by Open Signed Online can only be invoked by SMS program or other 3rd-party software. If you want the FULL POWER of Oizea Type on your beloved device to work with contacts, notes, maps, media players etc., maybe it is worth to break the constrains on your phone. Hint: Try google keywords: Drakkarious, CapsOn and CapsOff.

Download “All-TCB” version and install to your phone after self-signed.
